Abstract: The paper presents the results of the research carried out to investigate the influence of households’ purchases that were not effected on the activities of commercial organizations and final business performance. The article stresses the necessity of strengthening logistics service so as to provide uninterrupted supply. The author proves the competitive advantage of shops offering necessary goods and having appropriate level of stock.
