Peculiarities of the Financial Soundness Evaluation of the Republic of Moldova

Abstract: The methods of financial soundness evaluation that are based on the international methods of security risks management are assuming primary importance in the creation of financial security system of the Republic of Moldova. The paper examines the most significant early warning indicators of crisis in Moldova: the ratio of savings to investment, the balance of current account in the balance of payments, GDP, import and export growth rates, dynamics of the money supply and gold reserves growth. The analysis of the indicators of the foreign economic sector in the Republic of Moldova witnessed multidirectional nature of occurring changes.
