Abstract:

Based on the postulates of cliometrics the paper examines the transformation of the concept “opti‑ mization” allowing for the stages in development of economic theory and mathematical framework of economic sciences. The authors expand the concept “optimization” regarding the current state of eco‑ nomic development and suggest while giving the definition to it one should take into account implicit factors identified in the course of economic-mathematical modelling using the intellectual data analysis. At this, implicit factors are considered as non-obvious, non-trivial factors substantially affecting (directly or indirectly) economic activities that are based on hidden information, which was not taken in account earlier, but is practically useful and accessible for generating of knowledge and making economically justified decisions. To reveal the nature of the transformation of the concept “optimization” on the basis of impliciticity the principles of economic hermeneutics are applied.
