Abstract:

The paper conducts analysis and generalizes about the views of Russian and foreign researchers on the progressive approach to risks as a non-linear concept, connected not only with the threats, but also with possibilities to increase the efficiency of business structures functioning. The importance of risks during integration of business structures is established and justified as well as the particular role of a negative synergetic effect in this process is proved. The paper lists integrated structures’ specific risks grouped according to integration forms and types and specifies possible negative synergetic effects depending on the degree and form of business structures integration. New risks of global highly integrated economy are considered, their significance for the activities of business structures in conditions of uncertainty is stressed. The findings of the research may be applied to develop methodological propositions in risk management and study theoretical approaches to risks as important factors behind integration processes in economy.
