Green Economy: The Content and Methodology of the Study

Abstract:

The article illustrates the problems of living in harmony with nature, shows the movement of human society from the natural subjugation to nature through sustainable economic development to the formation of a green economy. It reveals the content of the technological, sectoral and moral-environmental methodological approaches to understanding of the green economy. As a new approach to understanding of the green economy, the author suggests civilizational approach, which allows treating it as a phenomenon of the XXI century ensuring the transition to a new civilization. The author states that the phenomenon of the green economy by its impact on people’s lives is comparable to the industrial revolution of the XVIII century and technological revolutions of the late XIX and mid-XX centuries. Key directions for practical actions to anchor the relations of the green economy are proposed.
