Abstract:

The article observes specifics of households’ financial behavior in Russia at modern stage of economic development. It investigates the factors influencing households’ financial behavior. Particular attention is paid to the problem of saving behavior for the reason that personal savings as an internal financial resource are becoming increasingly relevant in the situation of geopolitical instability. The paper reveals the trends in the use of personal incomes, shows the dynamics of savings’ structure and volume. On the basis of the findings of opinion polls the paper identifies peculiarities of households’ saving behavior and concludes about consumer sentiments in the society.
