Current Problems of Monetary Policy and Economic Development of Russia in the Shot-Term Future

Abstract: The article looks at the current economic problems of Russia’s monetary policy that on the one hand, deepen the imperfections of domestic credit system and show its weaknesses and on the other hand, create the preconditions for key changes in the monetary sphere that will allow overcoming the crisis phenomena in the Russian economy and reach a new stage of evolutionary development. Otherwise the credit system as well as the entire economy will face depression that can last for a decade or, as experts estimate, for a longer period of time.
