Abstract: The article considers the role of customs service in improving the operation efficiency of foreign economic activities’ participants. The paper identifies main types of customs services, examines the prospects of outsourcing customs clearance services. Proper management of customs services will allow an enterprise to cut costs related to the transfer of goods through customs border and increase the efficiency of its activities and, hence, the profits.
