Expansion of the Fortified Foodstuffs Production as a Basis of Food Security

Abstract: Introduction of environmentally friendly fortified foodstuffs is a part of food security maintenance. Developing and including such foodstuffs into the daily diet will allow eliminating the deficit of micronutrients in the nutrition of today’s people. The research of the quality and nutritional value of the strawberries obtained using micro-clonal propagation and adding the dietary supplement “Eramin” showed that the above-specified foodstuffs may be used to produce fortified jams with the required chemical composition and fine consumer properties.
