Abstract: The crisis of contemporary multiculturalism in the context of the concept of homeostasis by L. N. Gumilev is analyzed. The authors prove the thesis about the necessity to develop legal consciousness of an individual as a factor behind their ethnic self-identification in conditions of cultural integration.
