Formation of Innovation System in the Russian Dairy Farming

Abstract: The paper looks at the problems of dairy farming in Russia, particularly at the inability of this sector to satisfactorily perform the functions allocated to it within the food security system of the state. The article outlines destabilizing and motivational factors that considerably influence the efficiency of the sector’s functioning. Finally, the authors suggest strategic measures to form the holistic innovative system of the Russian dairy farming.
