Socialism as a Clerical-State Synthesis

Abstract: The paper reveals religious-philosophical understanding of the phenomenon of socialism from the perspective of Christianity, Judaism and Islam. The communal-collective essence of all these religions is believed to be the main prerequisite for the formation of socialist relationships. The sense of community developed to the state level and directed by the state becomes socialism. The article lists some possible difficulties of the forthcoming socialist renaissance in the Russian society which has come to a head long time ago.
