Methodological Approaches to the Identification of High-Tech and Knowledge-Intensive Products (Goods, Services)

Abstract: The article analyzes foreign experience of accounting of high-tech, knowledge-intensive products (goods, services). The paper compares Russia’s GDP, human development index, indicators of economy intellectualization with the same data of other countries. The prospective issues of harmonizing international classifications and classifications applied by Rosstat are considered. Foreign methodological approaches to the classification of economic activities according to the technology and science intensity are introduced into the conceptual framework of the national science.
