Abstract:

The paper scrutinizes a modern direction in development of banking business connected with the active use of new technologies that allow getting information and managing funds with a mobile phone or a tablet computer at any time and in any place. The authors specify advantages of mobile banking compared to the classical service provided in the bank and point to the risks associated with insufficient protection of personal and financial information kept in mobile devices. Along with theoretical approaches, the paper looks at the implementation practice of the project “Single Retail Mobile Bank” in OAO “Sberbank Rossii”.
